The kit trains
the student in breadboard wiring.
The
first 25 experiments are identical to HPKE-01, which makes this
kit independent of HPKE-01. The remaining 21 experiments utilize
the IC555 Timer, different from HPKE-01.
They explore Strength Testers, Short and Long Duration Timers,
Touch Operated Timers, Two-Level flashers, experiments with LDR
and Dual colored LED, and the PNP transistor provided in the kit.
The instruction
manual is elaborate, with circuit diagrams, and a wealth of
information on electronic components and the IC555 Timer
circuitry. Voltage Drops in electronic circuits are explored,
(also 'short-circuits') besides calculations of Effective
Resistance of resistors connected in series and in parallel.
