Primer. Use this kit before using HPKE GA2.
Contains 5 kits in plastic box with 5 compartments where the
parts can be saved after experimentation.
For Class of 32 students, suggested Group Kit Distribution:
4 Groups of 8 students perform Ex. 1 through 25, each Group using
parts in Compartments 1 through 4.
The Teacher utilizes parts in 5th compartment with the
Instruction manual. Extra manuals and kit parts can be shipped at
additional cost if required by Teacher. Time per Group to
complete 25 experiments approximately 15-25 hours, (depends on
class / student situation)
Study through experimentation the functions of resistors,
capacitors, transistors, diodes, LEDs, LDRs, etc.
Parts: resistors, capacitors, LEDs, an LDR (photocell), a
transistor, and a diode, breadboard, potentiometer, connector,
battery holder, push button switch, screwdriver, etc.
This section provides the requisite electronics background for
future experiments with HPKE-GA2 and
HPKE-GA3 Electronics Kits. We recommend that this kit be first
used. The Manual provides circuit diagrams, and information on
electronic parts. Voltage Drops, short-circuits. Resistance
calculations in series and in parallel. Resistor color code, etc.
are explored.
20 size 'C' batteries (not included) required to operate the 5
Group kits in the Box.
